On May 18, the first two tugboats, "Yulong Tug 1" and "Yulong Tug 2", undertaken by Shandong Port Equipment Group, were delivered as scheduled, achieving the successful refining and chemical integration project prospect which aims to build a world green petrochemical base.

The tug is 37.1m long, 10m wide, and 4.6m deep, with a design speed of 13.0 knots. Thanks to the ice-breaking bow design, it occupies good seaworthiness and maneuverability and can provide towing and berthing services for various types of small oil tankers, chemical tankers, and Panamax bulk carriers in ports. Besides, it also can be operated in B-class ice-breaking areas, providing a strong guarantee for improving port services.

After the project started, the company deployed a dedicated project team to focus on project control, adopted the reverse construction schedule, and strengthened precision control and other means to efficiently organize production.
